A food log that tells you
what you actually got
Not calories. Nineteen nutrient targets, written in plain words, with real foods ranked to close whatever is short. Free, from Forage Healing, and included with Forage+.
Nineteen targets, not one number.
A calorie total tells you almost nothing about whether a day fed you. Nourish tracks the things that actually run out, and says plainly which ones did.
Written in plain words
"You are short on magnesium" instead of a percentage against an acronym nobody explains.
Floors and ceilings both
Some nutrients you can have too much of. Nourish names the upper limit as well as the target.
Works with no signal
The whole food database is on the device. Log a meal in a cabin, a field or a plane.
Partial days say so
If you logged two meals out of three, the day is marked incomplete rather than scored as a failure.
Then it tells you where to get it.
When something is short, Nourish ranks real foods by how much of that gap they close per serving. Pumpkin seeds, not a supplement aisle. And it already knows what you ate today, so you can just ask it what to have for dinner.
Foods sorted by how much of the shortfall one ordinary serving actually covers.
"What should I eat tonight?" answered against today's log, not a generic list.
Trends over weeks and months, because one day was never the unit that mattered.
The papers, and how good they are.
Nutrition claims online are mostly a single study wearing a headline. Nourish shows the research behind a nutrient with the study quality attached: what kind of trial it was, how many people, how long, and whether anyone has replicated it.
A strong finding and a weak one no longer look the same. That is the whole point: you are meant to be able to judge the evidence yourself rather than take our word for it.
Free software that still costs money to run.
Nourish is free software, and it is not for sale. It has no ads and no data sale. It comes with Forage+, which also carries the Academy's portfolio, insights and alerts, and that is what pays for the compute behind every question it answers.
The honest state of it today: the food database and the nutrient engine are solid, the research library is growing, and the trends view is early. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. Nourish does not diagnose, treat or prescribe; it is a record and a reading companion, not a clinician.
Forage Nourish is free software from Forage Healing Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
